(TCET), which is known as Tamizhan College of Engineering and Technology which is located in Chenbagaramanputhoor was established in the year 2008. This university is promoted by Ponkasi Uthayam Educational & Charitable Trust. This institute ventured into the realm of providing quality technical education to both urban and rural students. The college is been affiliated to Anna University and is offering seven UG degree courses. This institute is approved by All india Council For Technical education (AICTE), New Delhi.
