The Satyam College of Engineering and Technology known as SCET in Aralvaimozhi is recognized by the Indian Technical Education Council (AICTE) in New Delhi and is affiliated with the Anna University, Tirunelveli. The aim of the Satyam College of Engineering institute is to provide a first class education based on the objective of producing academics of the highest quality. The institute offers courses for undergraduate and postgraduate students in various disciplines such as 6 streams in B.E programme and 5 streams in M.E programme. Admission to the courses are based on the entrance exam marks and passed out from a recognized board with aggregate marks in previous exam.

Institute has advanced hostel with well-equipped rooms with air conditioning and no air conditioning for boys and girls on campus. Our growing university has a fleet of 21 buses. It is planned to travel from several places in Kanyakumari, Tirunelveli and various parts of Kerala. Various scholarships are provided by the Government and many other organizations to help the students to reach their goal.

The placement department plays a fundamental role in the search for vacancies for graduates and postgraduates who leave the university keeping in contact with renowned companies and industrial companies. Placement department organizes training programs such as fake interviews, group discussions, workshops, communication skills, etc., and also organizes exams for public sector students interested in joining the state sectors to impart knowledge, skills and aptitudes and to fulfil with the requirements of industry personnel. The main objective is to place the more number of aspirants through interviews on campus and off campus conducted by the main companies. Institute also provides implant training, Entrepreneurship development sessions etc.
