Rustamji Institute of Technology

Para Military Force started the Rustamji Institute of Technology (RJIT) in the year 1999. The objective of the institute is to provide high-quality education to the wards of BSF personnel. The Border Security Force Education fund sponsors the institute for providing technical education for the interested students. The institute offers courses like B.E in mechanical engineering, information technology, electronics engineering, electrical engineering, automobile engineering and computer science and engineering, M.Tech in communication system and automobile engineering, and MCA.

The institute has various facilities like classrooms, auditorium, hostel, library, laboratory, cafeteria, medical, sports, and computer labs. The hostel facility is present within the campus, with 90 seats for female students and 120 seats for male students at INR 53k per annum and a canteen facility.

Placement:

100% placement assistance is provided to the eligible students and counseling to help them understand the profile to achieve their career goals. Internship opportunities are provided to the students in government sectors like BHEL and BSNL with a stipend of INR 10-15k per month. The average salary offered to the students is INR 2.5-5.5 LPA, and the highest is around INR 7.6 LPA. NIIT, Quick Heal, Igate, Indian Army, Airtel, Capgemini, Syntel, Mphasis, Indian Navy, CMC Limited, Wipro, IBM, Hero Honda Motors, and Cognizant, etc. are some of the top recruiters of the institute hiring eligible students with good package.
