Ranippettai Engineering College also known as REC, Vellore which came into existence in the year 1999 located in Tamil Nadu State. The REC College was founded by Dr.B.R.Ambedkar Educational Trust with the aim to impart appropriate technical education for aspirants and also to offer vibrant atmosphere for learning with superior infrastructure facilities and empower the candidates to accomplish successful in career. Institute has dedicated & experienced faculty team who imparts exceptional training & teaching and imparts value oriented education for candidates

• REC offers UG Course BE/B Tech in Civil, Electronics & Communication, Mechanical, Computer Science and Electrical & Electronics Engineering and offers PG Course in Computer Science, Applied Electronics and Communication Systems and also offers MBA Course.
• REC fees structure for BE/B Tech is INR 1.80 Lakhs for four years of duration ,fees structure for ME/M Tech is INR 1 Lakh for 2 years of duration and fees structure for MBA is INR 1.60 Lakhs for 2 years of duration.
• REC Admissions will be based as per the norms of Anna University, BE/ B Tech Selection process will be based on TNEA Counseling  and admissions for MBA and ME/M Tech will be based on TANCET Valid Score
• REC Placement & Training cell is entrusted with the obligation of guiding the candidates and arranges industry oriented training by organizing activities such as group discussions, aptitude test & mock interviews. Many Students got placed in reputed companies such as Wipro, Allsec technologies, Eureka Forbes, Wipro and Suther Land
