PCET College of Engineering and Technology (PCET) is located in Vellore, Tamil Nadu. The college was started in the year 2009, to impart valuable technical education to the aspirants. At present college offers UG and PG courses in Engineering & Technology streams. The All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi, has approved a private self-financed institute connected with Anna University in Chennai. Despite being a private college, it offers all of the necessary amenities at reasonable pricing to enable great learning for students of different academic backgrounds. Admission to PCET  is based on entrance exam scores and merit. To apply for admission, students must meet all of the college’s eligibility requirements.
PCET College of Engineering and Technology BE/B Tech Admission

  • PCET College offers admission to the BE/B Tech undergraduate degree. BE/B Tech offers five different streams. The annual intake for the B Tech course is 60 seats.
  • TNEA Merit Rank is required for admission to PCET College’s B Tech program. In addition, students must score a least 50% marks in the 10+2 science stream. And shall have studied PCM as the main subjects.
  • Students must first register for TNEA Counseling depending on their 12th grade. Anna University will release the TNEA Merit list later once the registration process concludes.
  • Students whose names appear on the list are eligible to attend the TNEA Counseling session.

PCET College of Engineering and Technology M Tech Admission
PCET College offers M Tech degrees in four core disciplines. M Tech has an annual intake capacity of 18 seats. Computer-assisted design is one of the specialties.

  • B Tech graduates with a minimum of 50% can apply to PCET for admission to the M Tech program, but they must also pass the TANCET state- level entrance test.
  • The TANCET will be held at Anna University. As a result, students must apply for an entrance exam and score well enough to meet PCET College’s minimum cutoff criterion.

TANCET is used to select candidates, who are then counselled.

PCET College of Engineering and Technology Application Process

Admission to the BE/B Tech or M Tech programmes will be based on Anna University’s norms. Students must first register for the appropriate entrance tests online by visiting the official website. (TANCET or TNEA) For B Tech admission in PCET College, candidates have to apply through TNEA Counselling. Then, based on TNEA valid rank and choice of preferences, seat allocation takes place. The mode of filling the TNEA application form is online, whereas application fees cost approx. INR 500. For M Tech admission in PCET college, students must register via online for the TANCET entrance test. Seat allocation takes place through TANCET Counselling.
