Kingston Engineering College is a leading technical institution established in 2008. It was started under the aegis of Duraimurugan Educational Trust. The campus locates in Vellore City of Tamil Nadu State. KEC offers UG & PG programs in the engineering & technology stream. AICTE approves the courses offered by KEC. And, the college is allied under Anna University. Thus, admission to the UG and PG courses will be offered according to the norms prescribed by AU. At the UG level, KEC offers BE/B Tech and MBA and M Tech at PG level.

Kingston Engineering College BE/B Tech Admission

The BE/B Tech undergraduate degree is offered at KEC College. BE/B Tech has eight branches. Candidates can choose the branch according to their interests and based on their TNEA rank because TNEA cut off ranks vary for each stream.

  • Admission to PCET College’s B Tech program requires a TNEA Merit Rank. The Anna University merit list will be based on 10+2 grades.
  • Students must have received at least 50% in 10+2 PCM subjects to be considered for admission.
  • Depending on their 12th grade, students must first register for TNEA Counseling. The TNEA Merit List will be released later by Anna University.
  • Students whose names appear on the list are eligible to participate in TNEA Counseling.

Kingston Engineering College ME/M Tech Admission

  • M Tech degrees are available in four core fields at KEC College. M Tech has a total of 18 seats available each year.
  • B Tech graduates with a minimum of 50% can apply to KEC for M Tech admission, but they must first pass the TANCET state-level entrance exam, which will be held at Anna University.
  • As a result, students must apply for an entrance exam and pass it with a score that meets KEC College’s minimum cutoff

Kingston Engineering College Application Process

  • Admission to BE/B Tech and ME/M Tech courses at KEC is based on TNEA counselling and TANCET scores and the guidelines prescribed by Anna University, Chennai. Candidates have to register themselves on the official website for the respective entrance exam & counselling.
  • For B Tech admission, applicants have to apply through TNEA Counselling via online mode. While admission to the M Tech, candidates have to apply through TANCET Counselling.
