Sir M Visvesvaraya Institute of Technology Placement

The institute has facilities for interaction with the industry and visits, an internship program and also live projects for better understanding. Campus recruitment for June 2012 was completed with 1159 offer letters for 684 students i.e. 99.57% placement among 475 aspirants with multiple offers in 27 leading IT and non-IT organizations, with 90% -100% students. The placement almost covers all the industries.

 Placement details:

• Recruiters visited the campus are Caparo, NCC Urban, Caterpillar, L & T, Quest Global and Cummins and many more with an average package of up to 6.5 LPA and 4.6LPA. Nearly 37 aspirants of civil department were interviewed at L & T & 12 at the NCC urban campus. 19 MCA students were selected by Fidelity, Aricent, Accenture and Cerner as part of the placement internship through recruitment activities in 2010-11.
• In 2018, Biotech students received nearly 42 offer letters in top recruited companies like Syngene, Bio needs and Omics International. Accenture Company recruited around 170 candidates. Civil students received around 24 offer letters from best recruiters such as RCC Poles, Tall Tech, Qcrete ready-mix, Nagarjuna Constructions, Sobha developer, RCC Poles and Pipes etc.
