North Bengal University Courses and Fees

• The candidates willing to apply for the North Bengal University UG Courses must have passed 10+2 with a minimum of 45%-50% aggregate marks from the recognized board.
• Selection to the UG Courses (BA, BSC, BBA, B.LiSc, B Com) is based on 10+2 merit followed by North Bengal University Counselling.
• A simple graduation degree is required to apply for the B.Ed at North Bengal University. The candidates are selected based on the merit of the qualifying examination,
• The NBU Merit list will be created based on the last qualifying exam marks. Those applicants' names featured on the merit list can participate in the counselling phases.

North Bengal University MCA Admission

• The candidates must secure a minimum of 60% marks in B. A Hons. / B.Sc. Hons. / B.Com. Hons / BCA / BIT / BIS or BSS degree with Mathematics as one of the main subjects at 10+2 or graduate level to apply for the MCA.
• The selection will be based on the performance of the candidates in the North Bengal University Entrance Exam, followed by a personal interview session.

• For admission into the MBA course, the candidates must have a graduation degree in any discipline except for Fine Arts and Performing Arts graduates.
• The candidates must secure a valid score in CMAT/ MAT/ CAT/ ATMA/ JMET/ XAT/ WBJEMAT/ NBU-MAT exams, as the selection will be based on the performance of these exams.

North Bengal University M.Sc and MA Admission

• The aspirants willing to apply in the same must have a graduation degree with a minimum of 60%. In addition, certain Specializations under an M.Sc degree have additional eligibility conditions.
• The aspirants will be selected based on their presentation in the written test conducted by the University and in the performance of viva voice.

The admission procedure is fully online. Follow the below-mentioned steps:

• Visit North Bengal University's official website and register on the online portal.
• After filling out the form, pay the application fee through NBU-SBI Challan, Credit/ Debit Card, or Net-Banking.
• Keep a printout of the online submitted application form or proof of payment of the Admission fee. The printout is required to be submitted to the University at the time of verification.

Candidates can download the MBA application form from the official website of NBU, followed by payment of the application fee of INR 500 in the form of DD drawn in favour of 'University of North Bengal' payable at SBI, NBU Campus, Branch Code-2096.

North Bengal University Scholarships

The University extends a warm helping hand to financially weak students. The institution provides deserving students with various scholarships and freeship schemes. The university issues separate notifications regarding the same. But only the students belonging to SC/ST, OBC, and PwD categories are eligible and must submit their scholarship forms for the academic year by February for processing the scholarships.

The cell continuously coordinates with various famous and renowned industries and organizations for the placement of the students.
