Modern Education Society founded the Neville Wadia Institute of Management Studies and Research in 1991. The Institute is associated with the University of Pune and approved by the Maharashtra government and the AICTE. Admissions to MBA through Centralized Admission Process (CAP) conducted by DTE Maharashtra. It is open for Maharashtra domicile and outside Maharashtra State (All India) candidates. Candidates shall have cleared entrance tests, such as MAH CET, GMAT CAT and CMAT. Thus, applicants need to register on the DTE website. In addition to the MBA, the college offers admission to the Ph.D in Management studies.

Neville Wadia Institute of Management Studies Fees Structure

A two-year, full-time postgraduate MBA programme is available. In addition, AICTE has approved 180 seats. The updated MBA Curriculum for 2019 expands on the Choice Based Credit System and the Grading System implementation started in Academic Year (AY) 2013.

Neville Wadia Institute of Management Studies Course Admission

A candidate is qualified for admission to the MBA programme if they received 50% in the open category and 45% in the reserved category on their degree or master's test in any faculty of any statutory university. Additionally, the applicant must have succeeded in the MBA Common Entrance Test administered by the University of Pune, DTE, and the Government of Maharashtra.

In addition, The candidates securing Non Zero Positive marks/scores in GMAT/ CAT/ CMAT are also eligible to get admission to an MBA course in the State of Maharashtra through the CAP round.

Candidates can get admission under this quota

• Maharashtra State Entry Seats: The Candidates having Maharashtra State Domicile shall be eligible for these seats.
• All India Seats: The Candidates having All India Candidature shall be eligible for these seats.
• Minority Quota Seats: At this college, certain seats are reserved under the minority quota. These seats shall be occupied following the various provisions of the Act.
• Institutional Quota Seats:  20% of seats are reserved for Management quota. In comparison, 5% of seats are applicable for the NRI Candidates.

CAP will be conducted in 3 to 4 rounds. The CAP process will consist of Online Application form submission, document verification, counselling along with brief GD-PI, creation of merit list and allotment of the seat for eligible candidates. The final allotment of seats will be created on scores in MAHCET, CAT, GMAT, and CMAT exams, prior academics and other parameters leading to merit scores in the CAP round.

Since not all the MBA admissions in Maharashtra Business schools could be finalized through CAP. DTE Maharashtra clarifies that in case seats remain vacant after offering admissions through CAP due to non-reporting and withdrawal after CAP Round III. Such seats will be filled under the Institute quota according to the guidelines prescribed by DTE.

The Neville Wadia Campus is located at Bund Garden Road, Pune. The college offers modern teaching facilities, whereas the buildings are signified through contemporary architecture. The infrastructure also includes state of an art air-conditioned computer lab with servers and internet facilities."

The other amenities include separate hostels for boys/girls, extensive libraries, seminar halls, a reading hall, outdoor and indoor sports grounds, a medical room, and a dining hall for Staff, Students and visitors. Neville Wadia College Hostel: Within the Campus, the Institute provides hostel accommodations for both boys and girls. Modern amenities are provided in hostels. The rooms are equipped and have good ventilation. A new dormitory is constructed with a neutral facilities block that houses separate mess and study areas for boys and girls. 91 women can stay in its old hostel, while 264 female students can stay in its new hostel. In addition, 352 boys can stay in the dormitory for boys. The property is outfitted with 24-hour security and CCTV monitoring.
