Indira Global Business School MBA Eligibility Criteria

These qualifications for admission to MBA programs are given below-

  • Eligibility requires the candidate to hold Indian citizenship.
  • A least a 3 year Bachelor's Degree from a university recognized by either the UGC or the AIU is mandatory.
  • The degree must be in any discipline and should have an aggregate of at least 50% marks (or its equivalent).
  • For candidates from backward class categories and persons With Disabilities in Maharashtra State, a minimum of 45% marks (or its equivalent) is acceptable.
  • The candidate must have achieved a nonzero MAH-MBA/MMS-CET examination score.
  • For All India Candidates/JK Migrant Candidates: The candidate must obtain a nonzero positive score in at least one of the following examinations: MAH-MBA/MMS-CET, CAT, or CMAT.

 

Note:

  • Aggregate marks refer to the total marks obtained by a candidate in the subjects for which their university has declared results.
  • If a candidate receives grades or a CGPA (Cumulative Grade Point Average) instead of numerical marks, the conversion to a percentage will be done according to the university's approved method. The percentage of marks will be calculated and rounded to two decimal places.
  • Candidates from specific categories like SC, VJ/DT NT (A)/NT (B)/NT(C)/NT (D), OBC SBC, SEBC, and ST should provide the required validity certificates issued by the respective scrutiny committees of the Social Welfare Department for caste validity or the Tribal Department for tribe validity. These certificates are essential for their application.

 

How to apply for the Indira Global Business School MBA

The Maharashtra State DTE and the Admissions Regulating Authority (ARA) have set standards for the admissions process to the IGBS MBA program. They post information on various days (schedules) online and in their informational booklet at www.maha-ara.org and /cetcell.mahacet.org. All interested applicants must frequently check the DTE websites (www.dtemaharashtra.gov.in and www.maha-ara.org) for information on eligibility, method, and participation in the Common Process, also known as CAP.

 

Candidates are advised to register with ARA and CAP-DTE for the admissions process, submit their preferences, and have their paperwork validated at specified facilitation centres (FC) that ARA/DTE has established. After the exam process and the students' selections, ARA/DTE will create the merit list for admissions.

 

Candidates will be admitted to pertinent colleges per their qualifications and preferences. As a result, students are required to indicate their preference for Indira College during the CAP Choice filling round.

Process of Admission at IGBS Pune

  • Candidates must apply for and take the MAH MBA CET exam, offered as a Common Entrance Test by DTE Mumbai in Maharashtra.
  • CAT, CMAT, and MMS-CET exam results are also accepted at IGBS Pune.
  • The next step is for the candidates to reach the IGBS Pune cutoff.
  • After passing the MAH MBA CET, candidates must participate in the seat allocation and counselling processes.
