Madurai Medical College was founded in 1954 by the Tamil Nadu government and is with Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R. University of Medicine. The institution shows a great improvement in the teaching of higher education in the field of medicine.   • MMC offers Diploma course, UG degree, PG degree, PG diploma, Super speciality and Certificate courses.
  • In MMC, the MBBS course fee structure is INR 1.03L (5 years), B.Pharm course fee is INR 83K (4 years), MD/MS programme fee is INR 67K (2 years), fee structure of DM course is INR 1.00L (3 years), B.Sc. course fee is INR 1.27L in the nursing field with 4 years duration period. Other courses such as M. Pharm, MS Ophthalmology, M.Ch and Diploma course fee is affordable and reasonable range.
  • MMC admission to the courses offered is based on NEET UG, NEET PG and also merit based for the final selection process.
  • MMC offers various scholarships under 2 awards i.e. Chief Minister’s award and Anna award. Under CM award amount of INR 3K is issued as scholarship amount every year and INR 10K is issued under Anna award.
