International Maritime Institute (IMI) functions from the year 1991. It is a community strong-minded to group together assets and proficiency extensive broad marine capability to begin an institute in reaction to the unembellished human resources scarcity faced by the shipping industry globally.

IMI Greater Noida is affiliated with Indian Maritime University, Chennai, for offering marine engineering courses. The Institute offers courses such as Pre Sea course, which includes a Diploma in Nautical Science, B.Tech in Marine Engineering & Graduate Mechanical Engineering, or Diploma in Marine Engineering and Post Sea Course, which provides for Basic Training, STCW & Value Added courses.

• The Duration of Diploma and Graduate Mechanical Engineering courses is one year, whereas B.Tech Marine Engineering is four years.
• The Institute also provides lateral Entry Admission to B.Tech Marine Engineering for three years.
• IMI Greater Noida Admission process depends on entrance exams such as OPEN CET and IMU CET, online exams.
• IMI Greater Noida Application form will be made available on the official website, and an application fee of INR 1000/- to be paid.
• 9 Students were placed in MAERSK, four students were placed in DOCKENDALE, and eight were shortlisted for further rounds through the IMI Greater Noida Placement cell.
