International Maritime Institute Admission

The International Maritime Institute is a private marine engineering college established in 1991. The institute's mission is to act as an essential maritime industry liaison. It is the only maritime institute in North India that offers a B.Tech degree through IMU in Chennai. IMI Greater Noida currently offers Pre-sea courses such as B.Tech in Marine Engineering, Diploma in Nautical Science, and Graduate Mechanical Engineering. There are also some post-sea and value-added methods open. The selection criteria for the courses are different from each other.

• Candidates with a minimum of 60% in their final year of B.Sc. are also eligible to apply for the course. Basic eligibility required for candidates is to have received a minimum of 50% in English at the 10+2 or 10th-grade level.

• Aspirants should be able to communicate effectively in both written and spoken English. Students must be under the age of 25 at the time of training.

• Admission to the B.Tech program at International Maritime Institute is based on the IMU CET test results, cut-off, accompanied by counselling. Candidates for B.Tech. (Lateral Entry) are chosen based on their success in the Pre Screening Test (PST) and Interview.
• Other variables that influence final admission to the second year of the B.Tech. Programs include payment of total fees, submission of records, and a medical report.
• Candidates are selected for the DNS program based on their performance on the OPEN-NET test. The GME program selection is chosen based on their success in aptitude, psychometric assessments, reasoning, IQ, and an interview.
• Candidates must go to the official website and select the Apply Now option. Fill in the International Maritime Institute application form with all relevant information. Then press the submit button. Also, candidates must pay the mandatory application fee.
