Institute of Rural Management, commonly known as IRMA, was established in 1979 in Anand, Gujarat. The foundation was laid by the 'Father of the White Revolution in India' Dr. Varghese Kurien, with the aid of the Government of India, Government of Gujarat, SDC, NDDB, and Indian Dairy Corporation. IRMA Anand is one of the leading B schools in India. NAAC accredits IRMA with an "A" Grade. IRMA Ranking among B Schools is 6^th in the West Zone by The Week Magazine Survey 2021. Applicants who hold a recognized UG degree with a minimum of 50% marks can apply for the IRMA PGDM Degree. (45% and above for SC/ST/PWD). Students pursuing their final year of bachelor's degree can also apply for the program, but they must have cleared all their graduation exams before the commencement of the classes.

• To be eligible for IRMA PGDM Admission, applicants must qualify in any competitive entrance test relevant to management education. Desired applicants must qualify either in CAT or XAT.
• If a student has given both the exams, higher scores on any exams will be considered for the IRMA admission process.
• Eligible applicants need to fill out the IRMA Online application form available at the college's main website.
• The IRMA application fee for general candidates is 2000 INR. For SC/ST/PWD candidates, it is 1000 INR.
• And for the BPL (Below Poverty Line) candidates, there are no application fees, but they have to show the BPL certificate proof at the time of admission.
• Once the IRMA application process concludes, the authority will shortlist the eligible applicant based on their exam scores.

• Shortlisted students need to attend further rounds of assessments, including the Written Ability Test (WAT) and Personal Interview (PI).
• After completing selection rounds, the authority will compile a final merit list by considering overall performance. It provides certain weightage to selection parameters.
