Institute of Rural Management Anand (IRMA) is a private Institute that was started in 1979 in Anand, Gujarat. The Institute is currently offering Post Graduate Diploma programs in various disciplines and a Fellowship program with Rural Management specialization.

  • Admission to PGD in Rural Management is based on the valid score obtained in the IRMASAT exam.
  • Students with a valid CAT score or XAT score are also eligible for PGDRM admissions.
  • The final admission process for PGDRM is carried through an entrance exam followed by Group Discussion and Personal Interview.
  • FPRM admissions will be based on a national-level entrance test followed by a Personal Interview and research proposal.

IRMA Admission:

The Institute will be shortlisting and calling up the students in two ways:

Merit-based Calls: The students belonging to the general category who have scored more than 85% in the XAT or CAT exam will be eligible for IRMASAT and GD & PI.

Profile-cum-merit based cells: General category students who have scored more than 80% in XAT or CAT exam and fall in Profile-based call criteria will be eligible for IRMASAT along with GD & PI also.

IRMA PGD Admissions:

The institute is offering Post Graduate Diploma program with two specializations as rural management and rural. The basic eligibility required to apply for the program is a bachelor’s degree in any stream with at least 50% marks from a well-known university. The students will be selected for rural management admissions based on the CAT or XAT, or IRMASAT exam performance followed by GD and PI. The students will be selected for the rural program based on CAT or XAT or GMAT performance, followed by academics, exotic career, personal interview, and group discussion.

IRMA Fellowship Admissions:

The Institute is offering a Fellowship program with one specialization that is Rural Management. The students must hold a master’s degree or equivalent with a minimum of 55% marks from a well-known university. The selection process in the Institute will be based on the marks obtained on CAT or XAT or GMAT or GRE or NET or ICAR SRF or GATE followed by producing research papers and Personal Interviews.

This is a private institute where certain seats are reserved for students appearing through management quota. There is Post Graduation Diploma in Rural Management for 2 years duration and applicants seeking direct admission to Institute of Rural Management Anand for PGD rural management need to have minimum eligibility like graduated from any discipline with minimum 50% aggregate.
