Indira Gandhi National Open University established its Regional Center at Kolkata, West Bengal in the year 1998 with an objective of providing access to quality higher education to all segments of the society. The Regional Centers are centers for training coordinators/counselors/other functionaries and would provide a venue for the students and the academic counselors to express their responses with reference to a particular subject

IGNOU has entrenched its study center in Kolkata, Sealdah, Park Street, Kanchrapara, Siliguri, Purulia, Malda, Asansol, Darjeeling, Coochbehar, Midnapore, Garia, Suri, Arambagh, Islampur, Jiagunj, Binnaguri, Udang, Baruipur, Kharagpur and Bishnupur. The Regional Centre is approximately around 20kms away from airport and 25kms from the main Howrah Railway Station and 15kms from Sealdah Railway station. The centre is well connected by public transport system, this helps many students and prospective learners visit the Regional Centre in person.

IGNOU offers UGC and AICTE approved Distance Learning courses like MBA at an affordable price and are acceptable anywhere in India. For admission in Management courses like MBA, DIM, PGDIM, PGDHRM, PGDFM, PGDOM, PGDMM and PGDFMP one has to qualify OPENMAT Management Aptitude Test conducted by IGNOU.

The Open University provides Post-Graduate Diploma in various specializations and International Business Operations is one of them. The fee for Post-Graduate Diploma in International Business Operations is INR 7800/- and INR 200/- registration fee.

Hi,

For Post Graduate Diploma in Management in IGNOU, a person must have UG degree with 3 years of professional or managerial or supervisory experience (or) Professional degree in Architecture or Pharmacy or Medicine or Engineering or Law (or) professional qualification in Company secretary-ship or Cost & works accountancy or Accountancy (or) just a Master degree in any field. The course is for duration of 1 to 1.6 years.

HI,

  • MBA program is for 2 year 6 months course. Candidates need to score minimum 50% marks in +2 with and appear for OpenMAT exam.
  • The OpenMAT exam is compulsory in order to get admissions in this distance learning institute and its necessary to score good merit in the OpenMAT exam.
  • The fee would INR 37,500 Approx. for the entire course.
