Hindu College Of Engineering And Technology is nurtured by the Hindu College Committee, who have been colonist in the field of education since 1934

Hindu College Of Engineering And Technology was opened by Dr.Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, the then vice-chancellor of Andhra University, who later occupied the position of President of India. This college is known for its best education standard with rich experience and dedicated faculty.

• The Hindu College Of Engineering And Technology is managed by Governing Body of 12 members, including Acharya Nagarjuna University and the Commissioner, Guntur Municipal Corporation, Guntur.  Sri S.V.S. Somayaji is the head of the governing body.
• Sri S.V.S. Somayaji is the chairman of Hindu College Of Engineering And Technology and a Chartered Accountant by profession, having 35 years of experience and extending social service in education for the past 25 years.
• The zealous mission of the Hindu College Of Engineering And Technology is to inculcate human values through education.
•  Hindu College Of Engineering And Technology provides UG courses in four different branches, i.e., Electronics and Communication Engineering, Computer Science Engineering, Civil Engineering,  Electrical and Electronics Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering.
• Hindu College Of Engineering And Technology Is Affiliated To JNTU, Kakinada And Approved By AICTE, New Delhi.
