CATEGORY-A Seats  Selection Process (70% of intake in each branch) :

• Selection will be based on rank obtained in EAMCET, Andhra Pradesh.

CATEGORY- B (Management) seat selection Process (30 % of intake in each branch): :

• 15% of Category B seats are available to NRI candidates who have passed the qualifying exam. With not less than 60% of aggregate marks or Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) equivalent to 6 on a scale of 10.
• The remaining seats are available to candidates from other states and Union Territories of India who have passed the qualifying exam. And secured rank in AIEEE.
• Vacant seats, if any, may be filled either based on rank obtained in EAMCET gov. of AP with Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry as optional subjects, or any other examination recognized as equivalent to Intermediate thereto.

Eligibility Criteria for Admission into B.Tech program

CATEGORY- A (Convenor) seats: (70% of intake in each branch):

• The candidate shall be of Indian National.
• The candidate should have completed 16 years of age as of 31st December of the Academic year.
• Must have passed the Intermediate Examination of the Board of Intermediate Education, gov. of AP. or any other examination recognized as equivalent to Intermediate thereto.
• Compulsory Subjects: Mathematics, Physics
• Optional Subject: Chemistry
• The Candidates should qualify in the EAMCET Examination conducted by the Govt. of AP.
• The candidate should fulfill the Local/Non-Local status requirement as laid down in the Andhra Pradesh Educational Institutions (Regulation of Admissions) Order,1974, as subsequently amended.

CATEGORY- B (Management) seats: (30% of intake in each branch):

• The candidate shall be of Indian National or a Non-Resident Indian.
• The candidate should have the age of 16 years as of 31st December of the Academic year.
• Compulsory Subjects: Mathematics, Physics
• Optional Subject: Chemistry

• Candidate should secure not less than 50% in Intermediate examination of the Board of Intermediate Education

• For NRI Candidates

Q1.Can you provide information about admission in B.Tech Course I just passed 12^th?

A1. Eligibility Criteria For Admission Into B.Tech Program On Normal Seats (70% Seats) In Vignan's Lara Institute Of Technology & Science

• The candidate shall be of Indian National.
• The candidate should have 16 years as of 31st December of the Academic year for which the admissions are being conducted. M
• The Candidate for admission to the four-year degree course in Engineering must have passed the Intermediate Examination of the Board of Intermediate Education, gov. of AP with compulsory Subjects Mathematics, Physics and  Chemistry as optional subjects, or any other examination recognized as equivalent to Intermediate thereto. 
• The Candidates seeking admission should qualify in the EAMCET Examination conducted by the Govt. of AP. The candidates will be admitted essentially following the merit secured at the Entrance Examination to view the rules regarding the reservations of seats of various categories of candidates.
• The candidate should fulfill the Local/Non-Local status requirement as laid down in the Andhra Pradesh Educational Institutions (Regulation of Admissions) Order,1974, as subsequently amended.
