Ganesh Shankar Vidyarthi Memorial Medical College is popularly known as GSVM medical college in Kanpur since 1956. GSVM medical institute is approved by MCI and in affiliation with King Georges Medical University, Lucknow. The attached Hospitals at G.S.V.M. The LLR Hospital consists of 1055 beds, the Children hospital consists of 120 pediatrics beds, and rests associated hospitals consist of around 650 beds.
