The Madan Mohan Malaviya University is a premier educational institution set up by the Government of Uttar Pradesh in 2013 as a non-affiliating teaching & research university. The institute was initially set up 60 years ago as Madan Mohan Malviya Engineering College; later, the college was turned into a university. Recently, MMMUT Gorakhpur was conferred with an "A" Grade by NAAC. It has become the 1^st state university in Uttar Pradesh to get NAAC accreditation. Besides, the University is approved by AICTE and recognized by UGC.

MMMUT Gorakhpur B.Tech admission

The MMMUT Gorakhpur B.Tech admission process is conducted based on MET scores. The preference is given to candidates from Uttar Pradesh, although candidates from other states can also apply. 90% of seats are filled based on performance in the MMMUT Entrance Exam. The remaining 10% of seats will be filled through JEE Main scores. Thus, applicants are required to clear the MET or JEE Main.

Admissions to the BBA program are offered through a common university entrance test (CUET) conducted by NTA. The candidates shall have a min of 55% marks in 10+2 to pass the eligibility criterion. Then, the candidates can register on the CUET's official website for application registration. The exam details & registration are provided after that. The CUET UG examination is conducted in August. The seat confirmation is done through the MMMUT Gorakhpur Counselling.

MMMUT Gorakhpur B. Pharma admission

The four-year full-time course is offered through the CUET examination. The minimum marks required in 10+2 are 55%, with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, or Biology compulsory subjects. The program also invites lateral entry to the course in the second year, where the candidate needs to hold a diploma degree in pharmacy with a minimum of 45% marks. The qualifying examination, in this case, is not a compulsory option. However, the final seat allocation process will be done through counseling.

MMMUT Gorakhpur M.Tech admission

The University provides admissions to postgraduate courses, and one of the major courses is M Tech, which is offered in more than 7 disciplines. The eligibility criterion is different in every case, but the admissions are made through the Malaviya University entrance Test & GATE. GATE-qualified candidates are given priority over MET candidates.
