Gondwana University school of Science

Gondwana University School of Science was found in the year 2011 and is under the ownership of the Government. This college was started in a place called Gadchiroli, Maharashtra, as the state university. This university has got accredited by NAAC and recognized by UGC and the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) members. There are more than 200 colleges affiliated offering various courses.

• The School of Science Gondwana University has various courses such as a Diploma in Hardware and Networking Technology at the Diploma level and a PG Diploma in Computer Science & Application at Master's degree level.
• In this faculty of Science and Technology, there is B.Sc. in Compl. English, Suppl. English, Marathi, Hindi, Mathematics, Geology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Environmental Science, Computer Science, Bio-Technology, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology, Electronics, and Physics. There is also a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology and BCA course offered under a UG level degree.
• As a master-level degree, this school of Science offers Master of Science (M.Sc.) in specializations such as Chemistry, Physics, Bio-Chemistry, Microbiology, Zoology, Geology, Botany, Mathematics, Computer Science, Electronics, Environmental Science and Biotechnology.
• There are also Master of Computer Application (MCA) and Bachelor of Pharmaceutical Sciences programs under Sciences and Technology.
• Gondwana University School of Science admission for the B.Sc. course is to have minimum eligibility of 10+2 passed in the science stream and has been recognized by UGC.
• For taking admission in PG Diploma in Computer Science and application, students must hold a graduation degree in B.E/B.Sc./B.Tech as minimum eligibility.

HOSTELS:

• There is a facility for both boys and girls it is maintained very clean inside the hostel and even in a mess. They provide facilities like a water cooler, water heater, washing area, and internet facility.
• Each room constitutes a cot, mattress, cupboard, chair, and study table for each individual. The rooms are well ventilated and furnished. The hostel fee is economical and student-friendly.
• The food provided in a mess is very hygienic and provides a  variety of food each day. They have deadlines to be inside the premises for student’s security and safety.

INFRASTRUCTURE:

• Library- It is well stocked with books ranging from all the fields. It has journals, e-books, reference books, and newspapers. It is well furnished and is one of the best libraries in eastern Maharashtra.
• Laboratories- It is well furnished with all the equipment and provided lab assistants to guide students.
• Sports- Students in their leisure hours or free time can play any indoor and outdoor games. They have courts like badminton, volleyball, throw ball, basketball, and cricket with indoor games like chess, carom and table tennis.
• Medical- Provides medical facility immediately in case of any major or minor accidents.
• The cafeteria is a must in every institute because it refreshes, and students can chill out after the hectic class.

SCHOLARSHIPS:

• It tells you that every student has the right to study and come up in their life so as there are scholarships for those deserving students.
• Students from minority, SC/ST backgrounds are eligible to apply for the scholarships, and whose parents are from the army are also eligible.

Students who topped their university or rank holder,s in genera,l all merit students get scholarships: Als,o whose family income is significantly less and can’t be afforded to studies.

BSC:-
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:
Candidate must have completed his/her (10+2) or Higher Senior Secondary Certificate Examination from the CBSE /ISC or from any other equivalent recognized board.
She/He should have obtained a minimum of 55% aggregate marks.
All SC/ST candidates are eligible for the relaxation of 5%.

MSC:-
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:
Candidate should have passed Bachelor's Degree in the relevant field obtained through the (10+2)+3 system or equivalent qualification from the recognized University or equal to it.
She/He should obtain a minimum aggregate of 55% marks.
All SC/ST candidates are eligible for the relaxation of 5%.
