Gondwana University School of Law was established to be a role model in the Indian higher education system and empower the youth of the rural and semi-urban areas with the best of traditional education and the all-important professional career-oriented skills, which are vital in the contemporary global scenario. The University aims to provide value-based quality education at an affordable cost. The university was bought into existence in 2011 and is located in Thane, Maharashtra. Gondwana University was approved by University Grants Commission (UGC) and is affiliated with AICTE.

• Gondwana University has various departs like, School of Arts, Commerce, Education, home science, Engineering, Law, Medicine, Science, Social Science, Commerce & Management, Humanities, Science & technology, etc. Altogether the university offers a total of 104 courses in several disciplines.
• Gondwana University School of Law offers undergraduate and postgraduate courses in law, i.e., LLB and LLM. The university also offers integrated programs like BA.LLB.
• The fee structure of all the courses is quite feasible and can be paid in installments per annum. The fee may vary slightly as per the course specializations.
• Admission is primarily based on merit in the qualifying examination for Undergraduate and postgraduate courses, while for some course’s admission is granted based on the entrance examination.
• The University has an offline as well as online application mode for admission.
• Gondwana University has a functioning placement cell in the college, which helps students attain jobs after completing their respective courses.

• The university's Placement cell strives hard to provide good placement opportunities for all the students.
• Moot court is present inside the campus, so the students are trained on arguments by the advocates and lawyers having much experience in practicing law.
• The internship opportunity is compulsory under the five years of education in trial courts under lawyers with a reasonable stipend every month.

• The college has a good infrastructure with all the basic amenities required by the students and faculties.
