Desh Bhagat University School of Agricultural Sciences

Desh Bhagat University School of Agricultural Sciences, was started in the academic year of 1996, and is located in Chandigarh, Punjab. The University was bought into existence with an aim to impart quality education, for enhancement of skills for progression in carrier and higher education according to student’s area of interest and to set up a student centered learning atmosphere and develop a research facility for graduate level to inculcate research attitude in students for innovations. Desh Bhagat University was approved by University Grants Commission (UGC) and is affiliated with AICTE.

• Desh Bhagat University School of Agricultural Sciences offers B. Sc in Agriculture (Hons) course of 4 years duration. Minimum eligibility required for admission into this program is that candidate must have passed 10+2 or equivalent with at least 45% aggregate marks with chemistry, physics, English, Agriculture/ Biology and Mathematics as the mandatory subjects.

B.Sc. Horticulture:-
Eligibility: 
10+2 or equivalent (minimum 45% Marks) with Chemistry, Physics, English, Agri/Biology, Mathematics.

Candidates must have passed 10+2 examination by securing minimum 45% marks.

PROCEDURE:
Students are advised to reach University at least 2?3 days prior to the commencement of classes and report to the Office of the International Students to complete the admission formalities.

• Marks cards/transcript of the qualifying exam.: front & back (English translation if applicable) or a score card issued by the school/ college.
• Birth certificate or examination certificate showing date of birth.
• Valid Passport with a valid student visa.
• Proof of NRI status of student / parents / guardian / NRI Sponsor (for NRI Students/ NRI Sponsored Students only).
• Equivalence and eligibility certificate from Association of Indian Universities wherever applicable.
