Rani Channamma University School of Social Sciences, located in Belgaum, Karnataka, was established in the academic year of 2011 to impart innovative and quality education of global-standard, to produce skilled human power, to strengthen professionalism with ethics to enable the students to face the challenges of contemporary society and to inculcate values of service, sacrifice, equality, justice and commitment in the mind of youth. Rani Channamma University was approved by the University grants commission (UGC) and is affiliated with AICTE.

• Rani Channamma University offers undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Commerce, Arts, Management, Education, Science, Medical, and Computer Applications under various specializations.
• All the courses' fee structure is quite feasible that can be paid in installments per annum, and the fee structure may vary slightly as per the course specializations.
• B. Com & BA course's total fee structure is INR 2,520; B. Ed course is INR 4,320; B. Sc & BBA course fee is INR 6,480, and the M. Sc course can be completed with the total expenditure of INR 15,460.
• For admission into any of these courses, candidates need to submit an online application form available on the college website.
• For courses like MBA and Ph. D candidates must also appear for PGCET and NET/ SLET entrance examinations.
• The candidate must have passed 10+2 from a recognized board for UG courses.
• For PG courses, students must have completed Bachelor’s degree in relevant subjects from a recognized university.

Rani Channamma University owns two different hostels for boys, namely Bhramaputra and Krishana hostels; the hostels are located within the college campus. Students can apply for a hostel seat at the time of admission itself. The hostels are well furnished with all the required facilities. The hostel fee is around INR 20,000 per annum.
