University of Mysore (UOM) is a State University established in 1956. It offers UG, PG, Diploma and research programs in multiple disciplines. In addition, it provides admission to distance learning courses in several streams. UGC and AIU recognize the courses offered by UOM. NAAC accredits UOM with an ‘A’ Grade. In NIRF Rankings 2020, Mysore University has been ranked 27^th Among the Top Universities. In the overall category, it has secured 47^th position. In the WEEK National Rankings 2017, It secured 9^th rank among Best State Universities in India. UOM was the first University to receive the NAAC accreditation with five stars in the year 2000. UOM imparts high-quality education at a feasible fees structure. In addition, there is a provision for scholarships.

• UOM offers BCA, BSc, BBA, BA, B Voc, B Ed, B Arch, B Plan, B Ped at the UG level. Additionally, it offers a five-year integrated program BA + LLB and B Com + LLB in law stream. Students who have passed 10+2 with 45% can seek admission for UG courses at UOM.
• The PG courses offered by UOM are MBA, M Arch MCA, MSc, MCA, M.Ed., LLM, MTTM, MSW, M Tech, M.P.Ed, M.LIB.I.SC, M Com. Besides, it offers PG diplomas in various disciplines.
• BSc at UOM is available in seven streams. BSc fees at Mysore University cost around INR 66k per year. Hence, total fees for three years cost approx. INR 1.8 Lakhs. The fees structure is the same for all the BSc disciplines.
• BCA fees at UOM cost approx. INR 2k for three years. Whereas BBA fees will expenses around INR 50k in total. The annual fees for BBA cost INR 17k.
• UOM offers admission to the B Arch for five years. The total fees for B Arch cost INR 1.5 Lakhs. Students can make the tuition fees paid on a semester basis. The fees will be around INR 15k per sem. Admission to the B Arch is based on the NATA score.
• MBA in UOM is available in three streams. They are Information Technology, Agri-Business and General. MBA fees in Mysore University cost approx. INR 58k for the first year. And, second-year students must make the payment of INR 27k. Admission to the MBA in UOM is based on a valid KPGCET rank.
• M Tech at UOM is available in five branches. They are CSE, Information System, Material Science, Urban & Regional Planning and Computer Cognition Technology (CCT)
• The course fees for M Tech at UOM cost around INR 96k for two years. The fees for 1^st year cost INR 54k. Whereas second year M tech fees will be around INR 42,400. Students who done their UG degree in B Tech with a valid PGCET rank can apply for admission.
• UOM offers two year MSc in various specializations. MSc tuition fees at UOM cost approx. INR 58k for the first year. And, the second year fees will be around INR 44k. MSc admission seekers have to attend PGEE (Post Graduate Entrance Exam) to get eligible for admission. UOM will be conducting the exam.
