Ph.D.: Mount Carmel College offers doctoral courses in various specializations. The admission criteria for the Ph.D. course offered by MCC will be based on the candidate's performance in a written test followed by a personal interview. The eligibility criteria for the Ph.D. program at MCC is completing a postgraduate degree program from a recognized university in the relevant stream with a minimum of 55%T aggregate score. The doctoral courses offered by MCC are in the following specializations:

Selection Process:

  • The selection process for the BA course will be based on the performance of the individual in the personal interview.
  • For B.Com and B.Voc courses, the selection process will be merit-based
  • For the BBA course, candidates must appear for MCMAT, followed by Group Discussion and a Personal Interview.
  • For MA and M.Com, admission will be based on the candidates' merit scores.
  • MCA course selection process will be based on the Common Entrance Test.
  • For the Ph.D. course, candidates must appear for MCC's entrance exam.

Application Procedure:

Step 1: Visit Mount Carmel College's official website, “mccblr.edu.in.”

Step 2: Download the application form for the respective courses and print out it.

Step 3: Pay the application form fee by collecting the bank challan from the exam section.

Step 4: Make the INR 500 in UCO Bank and submit the duly filled application form and the challan copy.

The MCC, Bangalore, offers a three-year BBA curriculum. In addition, students must have completed a two-year pre-university course in Karnataka Board Commerce, Arts, or Science or an equivalent course. The college administers a separate written test (MCMAT) for BBA students, followed by a group discussion and an interview. In the months of June and July, application forms for all courses are made available. Considering the students score in the entrance examination and college cut-off basis, BBA admission to MCC can be obtained.

Students who have passed 12th/PUC with at least 45% minimum marks can seek BA sociology admission at MCC Bangalore. While students will be shortlisted based on their qualifying marks. The mode of the MCC application procedure is offline. Therefore, students must visit the official website to download the application form. Application fees will be around INR 500.

The college offers a BA program. Students passed in 12 or Equivalent and with first class in order to be eligible for BA in MCC. Based on the qualifying examination, merit followed by interview round admission at MCC at BA is granted.

Admission to the BSc at MCC Bangalore is based on academic merit in the qualifying exam. In addition, candidates must pass in 10+2 with 45% marks in the science stream. Thus, the college doesn't conduct any admission test. But, candidates have to attend a personal interview for the further selection process.

MCC offers a B.Sc. course for applicants who meet the eligibility criteria. Students should hold 50% in the secondary and senior secondary from a recognized University. Admission for the B.Sc. course at MCC is based on Merit, followed by an Interview and Group Discussion. A cut-off list is prepared and put up by the authority further, candidates are shortlisted.
