Andhra Loyola College was established in 1953 by the Catholic Bishops of Andhra Pradesh. It is an autonomous institute administered and managed by A catholic religious order, member of the Society of Jesus. The college is affiliated with Krishna University, Machilipatnam, and approved by the All India Council for Technical Education, New Delhi, and UGC. Andhra Loyola College admission

  • Admission in ALC is merit-based and entrance exam based and merit-based.
  • Admission in undergraduate courses at ALC is merit-based.
  • Candidates seeking admission in bachelor's courses at ALC must have passed 10+2 from any recognized board of education in the relevant stream.
  • The final admission will be based on merit achieved in the last qualifying academic exam.
  • For admission in MA and M.Sc course at ALC, candidates must have a Bachelors's degree in a relevant field from any recognized university. In addition, the candidates must have scored a minimum of 50% marks in aggregation.
  • The admission in MA and M.Sc courses will be based on marks scored by candidates in entrance exams conducted by Krishna University, KRU-CET.
  • For admission in MBA courses at ALC, candidates must undertake the state-level entrance exam Andhra Pradesh Integrated Common Entrance Test (APICET).
  • To be eligible to apply in MBA courses at ALC, candidates must have a bachelor's degree from any recognized university with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregation.
  • For admission in undergraduate and postgraduate courses, ALC offers an offline mode of application. Candidates can visit the official site of the institute and download the application form from there. After filling up the application form, please send it to the college and the Rs DD. One hundred fifty issued in favour of Andhra Loyola College.
  • Candidates can also visit the institute and collect the application form from the administration department by paying Rs. 150. Please fill-up the form and submit it by attaching copies of the required documents.

  1. The Government of India scholarship is awarded to the students whose family income is less than 2 lakhs per annum.
  2. The Andhra Pradesh scholarship is awarded to students from the SC category and has parental income less than 2 lakhs per annum. However, for the candidates belonging to ST/DW/BC community, the parental income should be less than 1 lakhs.
  3. The ALC management offers scholarships to 2nd and 3rd-year students from degree courses belonging to the economically backward category. The candidates must have above 75% attendance and should have passed all the subjects.
  4. The institute also provides mid-day-meal programs, which are linked with the Earn while you learn to program.
  5. MHRD offers various scholarships under the central sector scholarship program for college students. These are given to the students who have scored the highest in their respective courses.
