Lakireddy Bali Reddy College Of Engineering came into existence in 1998 by Lakireddy Bali Reddy Charitable Trust. The NAAC and NBA accredit this institute under tier-I and ISO 9001:2015 certified. This institute has the approval of the AICTE and is affiliated with Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Kakinada. Since its inception, LBRCE's vision of co-creating value-based technical education excellence has led to the development of rural where the college campus is situated. UGC has recognized LBRCE as a "College with potential for excellence" and also awarded the 2(f) and 12(B) Status.

Lakireddy Bali Reddy College Of Engineering Courses are offered B Tech, MBA, and M Tech. In addition, a Ph.D. research program is available in the concerned disciplines. The B Tech program is available in 9 different disciplines. The annual intake is 1020. NBA has accredited a few engineering branches (CSE, IT, ECE, EEE & ME). Students who wish to apply for UG or PG LBRCE Courses must fulfill the admission requirements.

Lakireddy Bali Reddy College Of Engineering Courses admission is based on a state-level common entrance test conducted by AP Government. Admission to LBRCE B.Tech. is based on a candidate's performance in AP EAMCET and participation in AP EAMCET counseling. Students applying for MBA must qualify for AP ICET Examination. Enrollment of candidates into M Tech is based on GATE or AP PGECET. In B Tech 2^nd year, 10% of seats are allotted for Lateral Entry admission based on ECET Ranking.

LBRCE admission is granted through two categories. One is Category A, where 70% of seats are allocated based on common entrance test ranking (EAMCET, ICET, PGECET). To be eligible under this government quota-Category A, students must satisfy the LBRCE Cut off the rank. The remaining 30% of seats are filled under Lakireddy Bali Reddy College Management Quota, NRI Quota, according to the norms prescribed by APSCHE. LBRCE is operating from a 64-acre of landscaped campus in Mylavaram. The institution's faculty are all well-qualified and experienced both academically and practically. The LBRCE Placement cell organizes soft-skills training, personality development training, industrial visits, guest lectures, group discussions, and mock interviews to improve the student's chances of placement. Many recruiting companies, including TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Virtusa, IBM , Aditya Birla Group, and Tech Mahindra, have visited the campus for a recruitment drive.
