Akshaya Institute of Management Studies is one of the best management colleges in Coimbatore. AIMS offers two years full-time MBA program at the PG level. Admission at AIMS is based on the entrance exam score. AICTE approves AIMS MBA Program. The MBA is available in five disciplines. They are General, Finance, Marketing, System Management and HR.

• AIMS will offer MBA admission based on students' entrance test scores. Thus, students have to qualify for a state-level entrance test TANCET.
• In addition, students should obtain at least a 50% average score in a UG degree. Whereas students belonging to SC/ST can secure 45% as a minimum qualifying score.
• The selection of the candidates depends on TANCET Rank, followed by Counselling. Admission seekers have to register for TANCET to take up the exam. The mode of application or registration process is online.
• After clearing TANCET with a good rank, students must participate in TANCET Counselling. Seat allocation will be based on preference and rank.
• Thus, students must score well in TANCET as equivalent to the cut-off criteria. AIMS Coimbatore TANCET Cut off for MBA is 18. The cut-off rank is similar to all disciplines but varies category-wise.
• Candidates with good ranks in competitive exams like CAT, MAT or CMAT can apply for MBA admission. However, such candidates must attend final selection rounds, GD and PI.

MBA fees structure at AIMS cost approx. INR 90k per annum. Thus, the total fees for two years cost INR 1.8 Lakhs. In addition, students have to pay INR 45k on a semester basis. The fee structure is the same for all the MBA disciplines AIMS offers.
