MS Engineering College is a self-financed engineering college established in 2002 in Bangalore, Karnataka. It is accredited by the National Board of Accreditation and the All-India Institute for Technical Education (AICTE), New Dehli. In addition, the institute is affiliated with the Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belagavi. The institute aims to provide high-quality education through its modern facilities and advanced technologies. It has been rated B++ by the NAAC. MSEC has numerous courses in the field of engineering and technological studies. The programs provided by this college include BE, MTech, and Ph.D.

MS Engineering College BE Admission

  • The MS Engineering College (MSEC) offers a Bachelor of Engineering to its UG candidates.
  • 5 streams are available under the BE course. There are 60 seats available for each specialization.
  • Interested candidates must have passed their 10+2 exam with at least 45% in PCM subjects.
  • The selection of the candidates for B Tech admission at MSEC will be based on the KCET Rank.
  • Candidates must undertake a state-level common entrance test and perform well as equivalent to the MSEC’s KCET cut-off rank.
  • MSEC also offers admission to the B Tech Lateral Entry, 2nd-year admission. Students are required to pass DCET Entrance Test. In addition, they shall have studied Diploma in the concerned discipline.

MS Engineering College MTech Admission

  • The MTech degree is available in 3 streams for PG applicants.24 seats are available in each specialization.
  • Applicants must have a BE or BTech degree with a 50% score in their respective specialization to seek admission to the MTech course.
  • They must also appear for the national level entrance exam, GATE or the state level entrance test, or state level entrance test PGCET. Students should secure qualifying scores to be eligible for admission.

MS Engineering College Ph.D. Admission

  • The MSEC offers a Ph.D. degree in 4 specializations. The Ph.D. is offered in the domain of engineering.
  • Interested candidates must have a master's degree in a relevant discipline with a minimum of 60% marks.
  • Candidates should've also passed the UGC NET (including JRF)/ UGC-CSIR/ NET/ SLET/ GATE exam.
  • The candidates' final selection is based on their performance in the personal interview and Entrance Examination.

I had given Karnataka entrance test named as KCET and I had rank somewhere around 74,330. I attended the counselling but in first round I got different college then I waited for next round so in that I had got M.S. Engineering College admissions for studying BE course. The campus of our college was very beautiful away from the city, calm and quite.

I have opted BE in Computer science stream and the selected course curriculum is actually good. M.S. Engineering College admissions will be usually granted on the basis of KCET Entrance Exam score through counseling in optional I got selected for admission. Application forms can be filled up through offline & online MS College application fee costs around INR 1000

Hi Athul,

B.Tech course admission:

  • Eligibility is to obtain minimum 45% in 12th with compulsory subjects like Chemistry, Mathematics, Physics.
  • Admission will be made based on the KCET/COMEDK UGET counseling along with 12th score.
  • Fee details for the course is approximately INR 360000/- for the comeplete course.

M.S. Engineering College Bangalore admission details for B.Tech:

  • Candidate should have a minimum 50% aggregate in 10+2 with mandatory subjects like Chemistry, Mathematics and Physics. 
  • Candidate should obtain a valid score in COMEDK/KCET entrance examination. 
  • Admission is based on score a candidate obtains in COMEDK/KCET counseling and the score obtained in 10+2.
  • Interested candidates can apply online/ offline with required information.
