Ghousia College of Engineering was founded in 1980, is accredited and approved by AICTE and NBA, is affiliated with VTU, and is ranked among the top 100 Engineering Colleges of India. Ghousia Industrial and Engineering is the trustee of GCE. The institute aims at the holistic development of students in a competitive society. GCE focuses on developing excellence in technical education and is also one of the top institutes in Bangalore that provides the best-specialized training.

GCE B.Tech Eligibility

  • Admissions are courses in GCE, Bangalore is open to students who have passed 12th /10+2/ A level IB Board, in Science stream (PCM).
  • In addition, candidates must score a minimum of 45% marks in the 10+2 science stream.

GCE B.Tech Selection Criteria

  • The selection of candidates in GCE for any BE Program will solely depend on their KCET scores.
  • GCE is a minority college, and the minority group can apply through the KRLMPFCA entrance examination.
  • For KCET Quota, candidates have to undergo counseling which KEA Conducts. Then, based on the KCET merit rank, the seat will be allotted to the eligible students.
  • In addition, students must satisfy the Ghousia College KCET Cut off eligibility set by the admission authority.
  • Students who wish to secure admission seats under Management Quota at GCE can apply directly by filling out the application form online.

GCE M.Tech Eligibility

The minimum qualification that one requires to be eligible to get admission in Ghousia College for an M. Tech Program must be a B.Tech Undergraduate with more than 50% aggregate score.

GCE M.Tech Selection Criteria

  • The selection of students M.Tech in Ghousia College is based on their performance in PGCET (Karnataka Post Graduation Common Entrance Test), organized by the Government of Karnataka State.
  • Candidates who have been given GATE can also apply for admission to GCE. However, GATE qualifiers will have more preference during the seat allotment process.

GCE M.Sc Eligibility

  • For admission to M.Sc Program in GCE, a candidate must qualify B.Sc from any institute recognized by VTU with at least a 50% aggregate score.
  • As per the government norms, 5% of relaxation is applicable for the SC/ST/OBC Category (Karnataka Domicile Students)

GCE M.Tech Selection Criteria

The selection of candidates for the M.Sc Program will be made through PGCET. Additionally, a candidate must have one year of teaching experience or any other job experience to be eligible for admission to GCE.

The applicants will be selected for B-Tech admissions at Ghousia College of Engineering based on their rank secured in the JEE Main entrance exam, followed by the counselling process.
