• AKTU administers an MBA entry exam that fills 85 percent of the available seats. Counselling is held at AKTU in Lucknow to allocate students to branches depending on their merit.
• For 15% of the seats, candidates can apply for direct admission to the UIMT.
• Admission shall be based on the UPCET cut-off put up by the UIMT, followed by the percentage of marks received in the qualifying exam or the suitable entrance exam, according to the University's standards.
• Final selection and admission to the UIMT MBA programme are based on the UPCET or a similar MBA entrance exam.
• For MBA seat selection, the UIMT UPCET cut-off score is used.
