TS EAMCET 2022 Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must meet specific requirements to sit for the TS EAMCET exam 2022. Nationality, qualifying marks, age, admission weightage, educational qualification, and local vs non-local status are all factors.
Age Restriction (as of December 31st): For B.Tech admission, the candidate must be 16 years old. Candidates must be 17 years old to be admitted to B.Tech Dairy Technology, Engineering, Agriculture, or Food Technology.
Status (Local and Non-Local): Candidates who have lived in any Telangana institute for four years will be considered residents.
Admission Weightage: The TS EAMCET 2022 result will determine the ultimate admission process. Furthermore, the weighted average of intermediate marks will be ignored by 25%.
Nationality: An aspirant must be an Indian national who lives in India. They must also meet Telangana's local/non-local status requirements.
Qualifications in Education: Candidates must have received a minimum of 45 percent in Chemistry, Physics, and Mathematics in class 12th or any equivalent examination.
TS EAMCET Qualifying Marks: To be considered in the rank list, candidates must score at least 25% of the maximum marks in the TS EAMCET 2022 exam. For reserved category candidates, however, there are no minimum marks. Candidates who meet the TS EAMCET eligibility criteria 2022 will be able to take the TS EAMCET exam in 2022. To be eligible for TS EAMCET registration in 2022, a candidate must have passed the class 12th test.
TS EAMCET 2022: No 25% weightage to inter marks, ranks to be considered based on performance
For the calculation of TS EAMCET 2022 ranks, JNTUH has waived the 25% weightage for intermediate grades.
For the calculation of TS EAMCET 2022 ranks, the Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE) has decided to remove the 25% weightage for intermediate marks. According to the brochure, the Telangana EAMCET 2022 rank list will be created solely based on the candidate's performance in the entrance exam, according to the TS EAMCET 2022 eligibility criteria.
Previously, the 25 percent weightage of marks gained in intermediate public examinations was used to compute TS EAMCET ranks. Because of the pandemic, the weighting for admissions to several engineering, agriculture, and pharmacy programs has been lifted as an exceptional instance for the academic year 2022-23. Last year, this benefit was also extended to students due to the epidemic.
The minimum eligibility for the EAMCET 2022 has been lowered, with candidates needing a min of 45 percent (40 percent for reserved category candidates) in Intermediate. This means that students who finished MPC or BiPC courses in certain disciplines and passed the entrance exam for the academic year 2022-23 are eligible to enrol in related courses.
The intermediate eligibility criterion was reduced because exams could not be held due to the pandemic. All second-year students were passed in 2021 based on their first-year scores, and second-year students with backlogs in the first year were awarded minimal qualifying marks. Similarly, the State government offered minimal qualifying scores for all failed applicants because second-year students had a low pass percentage in the first-year exams in 2021-22.
The TS EAMCET 2022 will cover only 70% of the complete syllabus in both first and second-year Intermediate.
The admission exam will take place between July 14 and 20, with AM tests on July 14 and 15 and engineering tests on July 18, 19, and 20. Online registration is currently open at https://eamcet.tsche.ac.in/
