MHT CET is the Maharashtra Common Entrance Test at state-level competitive entrance exam conducted by the Government of Maharashtra by DTE. Some of the top institutes in Maharashtra state will consider the marks secured in MHT CET and keep that as the selection criteria for admissions in those institutes. MHT CET is used for course admissions in UG engineering, agriculture, and pharmacy with stated courses like B.E/ B-Tech, Pharma- D and B.Pharma. The mode of application is online, and the students will have to register themselves on the official exam website.
This MHT CET exam will be held offline, i.e. in pen and paper format in MCQ question pattern. The total marks are 100, and equal weightage is given for each subject like English, Maths, Science and Social Sciences. The registrations for MHT CET 2021 was closed on 26 July 2021, in the online mode, where the students are required to fill in all the necessary information needed in the application form. They must also pay the application fees of INR 800 for gen candidates, and reserved candidates are INR 600.
DTE defines the essential eligibility criteria for MHT CET 2021: applicants who meet the qualification will be able to appear for the MHT CET exam. All the students who have passed their qualifying exam, i.e. in HSC exams or 12th board exams or any qualifying equivalent exam. The applicants must have an Indian Nationality to be qualified eligible for appearing for MHT CET. The age limit for appearing for exam is not restricted for MHT-CET 2021.

Steps on how to apply for MHT CET 2021
Step 1:The official website of MHT CET 2021 must be opened.
Step 2:There will be a link as 'New or fresh Candidate Registration' on the MHT CET 2021 portal.
Step 3:After that, students must put in all the details in the registration form for MHT CET 2021.
Step 4:The MHT CET 2021 application form will include details like academic, personal, contact details, other necessary certificates and docs in desired size and format.
Step 5:Students must fill in all the educational details like academic percent in classes like 10+2 and UG degrees in any recognized board's relevant stream.
Step 6:Prior to submitting the application form, payment for the application form must be paid by the students in online method by either card or net banking methods.
Step 7:The filled application form of MHT CET 2021 must be downloaded and further hard copy will be taken.
