The government of Maharashtra CET cell will conduct the MHT CET entrance exam of 2022 at the state level. As per the updated information, the registration process for MHT CET 2022 has been commenced from February 10, 2022. The MHT CET scores are considered for admissions in UG programs like Pharmacy, Engineering, Agriculture, etc. The MHT CET valid scores are accepted in both private and government colleges of Maharashtra. The exact exam date for MHT CET 2022 is yet to be announced by the state authority. Predictably, the MHT CET 2022 exam might occur in April last week or May 1st week.

Who can apply for MHT CET 2022? Know your eligibility requirement.  

  • Candidates appearing for MHT CET must be citizens of India and have completed their 10+2 board exams from a well-recognized state board.
  • The minimum required percentage to appear for MHT CET is 50% in board exams in all the main subjects like PCM. For reserved candidates, the requirement is 45%.
  • The candidates applying for MHT CET must be of a minimum age of 17 years.

How to register for MHT CET 2022

  • The mode of application for MHT CET is possible only online by visiting the exam website. There is no option for offline submission of the form.  
  • The complete application form submission process of MHT CET is done by registrations, filling in the personal, uploading documents and educational details, and payment.
  • The application forms will be eliminated if the candidate fills in false information.
  • There is also a MHT CET 2022 correction window for the candidates to make changes in the selected fields.
  • In the end, the candidates must pay the application fees of MHT CET 2022 of INR 1600 for general candidates.
  • After the form is submitted, the candidates are recommended to take the printout of the form and use it for further process.

The admit card for MHT CET 2022 will be released a couple of weeks before the scheduled exam dateThe exam authority will release the hall ticket for only the registered candidates of MHT CET 2022. The registered candidates will have to log in to the exam website and look for the respective admit card. Before downloading the admit card, candidates must verify all the details printed on the hall ticket and download it. Any changes to the hall ticket must be reported to the authority immediately.  

The MHT CET 2022 exam results will be out within two to three weeks after completing the exam. After that, the merit list will be prepared. Candidates whose names are featured on the merit list will be eligible to participate in MHT CET 2022 Counselling rounds. The MHT CET result will be considered one of the major documents to seek admissions for various institutes in Maharashtra. Before the results are released, the authority will release the answer key of MHT CET 2022 so that the candidates can estimate their results.

Following the announcement of results, the counselling for MHT CET 2022 will begin. Candidates who hold valid exam scores can participate in counselling rounds. At first, eligible candidates will register for the counselling rounds online by visiting the exam website. After the candidates have registered for the counselling rounds, they must also do the choice blocking to make the seat allotment easier.

As a simple admission procedure, after the candidate approves the seat allotment, they must visit the college and submit a letter to confirm further admission.
