MHT CET 2022 revised exam dates

According to the latest update given by the Ministry of Higher and Technical Education, the revised dates for MHT CET 2022 exam have been announced on the official website of the conducting body.

The conducting body of MHT CET is the Government of Maharashtra State CET cell. The main intention of this exam is to shortlist the students to get admission in UG courses like Engineering, Pharmacy, Agriculture, etc. The valid MHT CET 2022 scores will enhance the chances of getting admission into both private and Government colleges in Maharashtra state.

Newly, the revised dates for MHT CET 2022 for the academic year 2022-2023 are out notifying the students to prepare for the exams. The MHT CET 2022 exam dates for the engineering program are from August 5 to 11, 2022. The MHT MCA CET is held on August 03 and 04, 2022. The entrance exam for the LLB program is held on August 04 and 05, 2022. Lastly, the exam dates for the Pharmacy program are from August 12 to 20, 2022.

The eligibility criteria of MHT CET 2022 is that the candidates must be citizens of India. In academic terms, the candidates must have completed their 10+2 board exams or equivalent in any discipline from the recognized board. They must have secured a min of 50% aggregate in the core subjects for admissions. Students who are yet to appear for the final exam can also appear for the MHT CET entrance exam.

In order to get better results in the entranced exam of MHT CET 2022, the candidate must be aware of the exam pattern of the exam.   

• The MHT CET 2022 exam mode is conducted online i.e. in the CBT method.
• The exam is formatted only with MCQ-type questions.
• The MHT CET 2022 medium of language for the Mathematics section is English and the Physics and Chemistry section is available in English, Urdu, and Marathi.  
• While filling out the application form, the candidates must carefully choose the medium of the exam.  
• The time duration to solve the MHT CET paper is given 180 mins (each section 90 mins)
• Each the MHT CET paper consists of 150 questions in total (50 questions for each subject)
• Each question is for two marks and the total marks are for 200 (100 marks each section).
• MHT CET paper is divided into two parts Physics & Chemistry and Mathematics.
• As a part of the marking scheme, two marks are awarded for each right answer for the mathematics section, and 1 mark is awarded for Physics and Chemistry section.
• There is no negative marking for wrong answers in MHT CET

Here are some of the key points to look for in MHT CET Preparations:

• After the commencement of the exam, the candidates are not allowed to switch between the sections.
• For each question, 4 alternative options will be given to choosing the right answer.
• According to weightage, 20% of the exam syllabus is based on 11th boards and 80% is based on the 12th boards.

 As the registrations of MHT CET 2022 have been closed on 23 April 2022 and the release of the correction facility is dated and the other exam event dates are yet to be announced by the authority. The MHT CET 2022 admit card will be available within 2 weeks before the exam date as it is an essential document. After the exam has been concluded, the candidates will have to wait for the release date of the MHT CET 2022 results. After the selection of candidates, they will be called for the counselling rounds to decide the MHT CET 2022 seat allotment in the participating colleges according to the scores and the preferences of students.
