LM Thapar School of Management Eligibility Criteria 2024
- Applicants must hold a UG degree in any field from an accredited university or institute with a minimum of 50% overall, an equivalent CGPA, or a matching grade.
- A graduate degree after passing every portion or part of the CA, ICWA, or ACS Intermediate Examination.
- Applications are also accepted from candidates who have finished their degree requirements and are awaiting results, as well as those who are taking the last year of their bachelor's degree or comparable qualifying test.
- Candidates who have worked for a company for a minimum of a year are excused from earning 50% of their graduation or postgraduate grades.
- For applicants from Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), and Persons with Disability (PwD) groups, the minimum percentage needed is 45%.
- Candidates must possess valid scores from the Thapar Management Aptitude Test (TMAT), CAT, NMAT, XAT, CMAT, MAT, GMAT, GRE, or SNAP exams.
- A minimum of 60% in class 12 or higher education mathematics grades, an equivalent CGPA, or a similar grade are required of candidates applying to the MBA-BABD program.

LM Thapar School of Management Selection Process 2024
Based on the information provided in the LMTSM MBA application form, candidates will be shortlisted and invited for additional evaluation and interview in the following order:
- Professional Readiness: There are two components to it.
- Video Statement of Purpose - A brief video—ideally in MP4 format and no longer than three minutes—must be uploaded prior to the interview.
- Interview - An exchange with the LMTSM admissions committee.
- Academic Readiness: It is determined by looking at how well candidates do on the CAT, XAT, NMAT, GRE, GMAT, CMAT, MAT, and SNAP exams. On the day of the interview, candidates who have not taken any of the assessments above must take the Thapar Management Aptitude Test (TMAT). Even if they have taken the exams above, applicants are still able to select to take the TMAT.
- Academic history: 10th & 12th performance, graduation performance.
