Moreover, it is mandatory to enter their individual subject marks as well as the total marks obtained in the 2nd PUC or class 12th. Candidates can look at the following steps mentioned below:
KEA determines the KCET 2025 rank. It gives equal weightage to the marks secured by candidates in the Physics, Chemistry, and Maths sections of the KCET 2025 exam. Both sets of marks are considered in a 50:50 ratio to calculate the final rank.
According to the KCET 2025 brochure, candidates belonging to the Horanadu and Gadinadu Kannadiga categories must secure at least 12 marks out of 50 in the Kannada Language Exam. Only those who meet this requirement will be considered for rank assignment, and only then will they be eligible for seat allotment.
The KCET 2025 Marks vs Rank analysis provides an estimate of the rank. Candidate can expect a rank based on their exam scores. Candidates who have secured more than 120 marks are likely to achieve a rank within the top 100-200. Those scoring between 100 and 119 marks may fall within the 200-500 rank bracket. This will allow them to be eligible for top institutes. Candidates with scores ranging from 85 to 99 are expected to obtain ranks between 500 and 1000. This score can lead to admissions in branches like Mechanical or Civil Engineering.
