Global Academy of Technology is a private college which was started in the year 2001 with the aim of providing quality education to the students in engineering field. GAT is governed by the Congress Committee of Karnataka with the mission to promote excellence in education among the students. GAT is recognized by Government of Karnataka, affiliated to VTU, Belgaum and is approved by AICTE, New Delhi.
Global Academy of Technology offers engineering course like B.E with six specializations with admissions for 60 students in each course.
The application process for admissions at GAT is done through offline mode and the application fee payment can be done through DD.
GAT COMEDK UGET Cutoff:
B.E admissions at GAT are done based on the rank scored in the state level entrance exam like COMEDK UGET. The COMEDK UGET question paper has 180 questions for three hours period with no negative marking for the wrong answers. The question paper covers all the main subjects like physics, mathematics and chemistry with 60 questions each. The exam was held on 12th May 2019 and the result was announced on 27th May 2019. GAT Admission Procedure:
The students in order to get admissions at GAT must have 10+2 years of intermediate education with 45% score having English, Mathematics, Physics and Biology/ English/ Chemistry/ Computer Science as mandatory subjects. The selection of eligible students for B.E admissions at GAT is based on the score in COMEDK UGET or KCET conducted by KEA. The application process at GAT is offline and the interested candidates can obtain it from the admission office.

GAT B.E Placements:
The placement cell of GAT has industrial collaboration with many reputed companies in order to help the students achieve their career goals. The students are taken for industrial visits and internship opportunities are provided to the students from third year. The placement cell conducts on campus and off campus placement drives in order to help the students get placed with good package. The salary package offered to the students is in the range of INR 4.53-6.45 LPA.
