GATE 2021 Guidelines for the candidates to check

IIT Bombay is the conducting dominance of GATE 2021 that is happening from 6th to 14 Feb 2021 whereas, on 5 Feb, there will be a mock session offered for all the registered candidates so that they will get an idea of how to attend the exam and enhance the performance in the actual examination. A day before the exam, students can check the GATE examination's official website to understand all the regulations and instructions to follow by the students appearing for the exam. To better understand the rules, there is also a YouTube live on the official channel of GATE 2021; this way, both the examination board and the student's understanding will better, and immediate clarifications can be accordingly given.   

On 5 Feb 2021, as said, there will a mock test arranged by zonal officials, not only for students but also for other staff of the examination like invigilators, Scribe selection for physically disabled students, and other relevant preparations exam centers amid COVID 19 Pandemic. 

On the day of the examination, i.e., 6 Feb 2021, according to the exam jurisdiction regulations: students has to keep in mind all the instructions; one of the most important things is that they have to bring their hall ticket and an additional photo ID proof which will act as verification item at the entry point of the exam center.  

The admit card of GATE 2021 is already live on the official page of the GATE examination. There are a few steps that the registered students will have to follow to download the hall ticket from the website. The GATE homepage will have the option of "Admit card Download," where the sign-in details will be of each candidate respectively, and then the admit card will be displayed on the screen. The students appearing for GATE 2021 should verify all the details published on the hall ticket and then download it accordingly. The students will have to carry a physical copy of admit card, which will have details like the student name, application number, exam venue details, Photo ID, and signature printed. 

Exam Day Instructions for GATE 2021

• GATE 2021 Students must enter the exam center before avoiding the last-minute rush and hustle that might consume the exam timings. So it was suggested by the authority to be at the exam venue at least an hour before. 
• As the nation-wide, the rules are slightly strict with proper temperature checking and social distancing.  
• The accepted body temperature of allowed candidates is 99.4 degrees. If there are any variations, the respective students will be kept in isolation arranged in the exam center.  
• Some of the essentials that the candidates will have to carry apart from the admit card are – small-sized sanitizers, water bottles, and other stationery items needed at the time of examination. 

· once the exam duration is over, the students will have to leave the hall by following the same social distancing and drop off their admit card and rough pads at the exam hall itself, and the invigilator will take care of it.
