Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay (IIT Bombay) has been declared the official dates for releasing GATE 2021 Admit Card. According to the notified schedule, GATE 2021 admit cards will be available from 8th January 2021 in online mode only. To be noted, it is mandatory to carry a GATE 2021 admit card along with original photo ID proof to the exam venue.
Applicants who registered successfully for GATE 2021 entrance exam are eligible to download the admit card by logging to the official website (@ appsgate.iitb.ac.in). In order to access the admit card, candidates required to use their application number and password which was generated during GATE 2021 application process.
IIT Bombay has proclaimed that, GATE 2021 will conducted between 5th to 7th and 12th to 14th February 2021 and the exam will be held in online mode (Computer based test). The examination schedule has been extended for longer duration by considering the COVID-19 pandemic situation in the country. The entrance exam will take place in two sessions- morning shift from (9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.) & afternoon shift from (2:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.). After the conclusion of entrance exam, GATE 2021 result will be announced on 22nd March 2021 in online mode and GATE 2021 Counselling session will take place in the month of April.
Apart from this, other major announcement for GATE 2021 entrance exam is, candidates will be providing opportunity to sit for maximum 2 papers. Hence, candidates can opt for 2 disciplines from the list of combinations. This decision has taken by the concerned admission authority to boost up interdisciplinary studies. There are totally 206 GATE 2021 Exam Centres in India. Additionally, authority have added 11 new exam centres for the three zones namely IIT Kharagpur, IIT Bombay, IIT Roorkee.
Every year, GATE entrance examination was conducted in India as well as abroad, but due to the COVID-19 situation, the chances are very less for conducting entrance exam outside India. According to the notification statement, in case if the COVID-19 situation gets normal by December 2020, then the authority will be decided to conduct GATE 2021 examination in abroad.

Step 1: At first, candidates must visit the official website (@ appsgate.iitb.ac.in) and click on GOAPS Link
Step 2: Then, candidates required to login using the credentials (Application Number/ Enrolled Id & Password) and security pin.
Step 3: Upon the successful login, candidates need to click on the link stating “Download Admit Card”
Step 4: GATE 2021 Admit Card will display on the screen, candidates required to download it and must take the print out
Note: In case if candidates find any discrepancy in their admit card, need to report it immediately for the concerned admission authority.
