Note:
Cutoffs are dependent on the course and the category (General, OBC, SC/ST, EWS, PwBD). Generally, for the reserved categories, the cutoff percentiles are lower (on average by 5-10 percentile). For higher cutoff ranges, such as BCom and BA Programme courses, there are more colleges taking students due to demand.
In the case of institutes that hold "minority" status, such as St. Stephen's and JMC, they do (where interviews are taken into consideration) place an interview into consideration with a weightage of 15%.
In the case of limited-demand courses such as BA (Hons) Psychology, Economics, and BCom (Hons) often these top colleges will have cutoffs in the range of 99-100 percentile.
Students from state boards or students who get scores and percentiles somewhere in the middle in the CUET may rise in ranks in colleges with cutoffs below the 90 percentile.
