Eligibility Criteria for B Pharm Admission in West Bengal

Academic Qualification: In order to secure admission for B Pharm course in West Bengal, candidates required to meet the eligibility requirements which is prescribed under concerned admission authority. The Basic eligibility is, candidates shall have possessed 10+2 examination with minimum 60% aggregate score in science stream from any recognized board of education. Candidates shall have studied mandatory subjects Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology in intermediate level/10+2.Candidates belonging to the reserved category will be having 5% of relaxation in aggregate score. Hence, such candidates can secure minimum 55% in qualified examination.

Domicile Rules: Candidates who wish to take admission for B Pharm in West Bengal Pharmacy Colleges through WBJEE score. Such candidates should be domicile/resident of West Bengal State. Step 3-Upload the Photo & Signature: Candidates has to upload the scanned images of the Passport Size Photo along with a signature in a specified guideline.

Step 4-Payment of WBJEE Application Fees: After uploading the images, candidates required to pay the prescribed WBJEE application fees as per the category wise. For General/EWS category application fee charges INR 700 and for SC/ST/OBC application fee costs INR 500.Application fees can be paid via online mode using any of the payment method (Net Banking /Credit Card/Debit Card)

Step 5-Confirmation Page: Once the application form filled completely, then the confirmation page will be generated. Candidates are advised to save it and must download the same and take the print out it.

Selection Process for B Pharm Admission in West Bengal

West Bengal B Pharm Selection Process will be done on the basis of 10+2 academic merit, valid score in entrance followed by WBJEE Counselling Session. After the completion of WBJEE entrance exam, result will be declared as per the schedule. Later, concerned admission committee will prepare the merit list based on the candidates score acquired in entrance exam. WBJEE counselling procedure involves several stages and it is mentioned below.

Step 1: Registration for WBJEE Counselling: At first step, candidates required to visit the respective portal of WBJEE (@www.wbjeeb.nic.in).Then, click on the stating link “Registration for WBJEE Counselling”. Fill up the required details in order to complete registration. Upon successful registration, candidates will receive system generated login credentials (Registration ID & Password).

Step 2-Payment of WBJEE Counselling Fees: Candidates required to pay the counselling fees via online mode. WBJEE B Pharm Counselling fees charges INR 500.

Step 3-Filling & Locking Choices: In this step, candidates can proceed to fill up the choices of colleges as per their preference. Candidates are advised to choose maximum number of choices and must lock the choices to confirm. In order to fill up the choices in option entry form, candidates required to use their login credentials to sign up.

Step 4-WBJEE B Pharm Seat Allotment: After the conclusion of choice filling round, concerned admission authority will allot the seat for the candidates based on their merit rank, choices preferences. WBJEE B Pharm seat allotment process will be done through online mode.

Step 5-Document Verification: Once the seat allocation is done, candidates required to report in-person at the reporting centre and must submit all the required educational documents for the document verification purpose.
