Amrita Coimbatore is one of the family institutions of Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham that forms a group of institutions. The institution has records of providing quality education by recruiting well-certified teaching faculty members and also offer specific guest lectures. This ASB offers the management course for its students who are willing to pursue their PG in Business administration course like MBA. It also provides some promising placement opportunities. The management school has opened its application and is inviting the applicants to apply for MBA openings, a Full-Time course for two years for the academic batch of 2021-2022. The application form is accessible from 4 Feb 2021, and the deadline for the applicants to register and submit the condition is by 28 Feb 2021. Students must also pay the application fees amount as mentioned and the form submission.  

Amrita offers both PG and Doctorate level programs where the MBA program is given with six variant subjects and Ph.D. has seven specializations of core subjects. The management also ensures practical exposure by offering internship offers in well-known companies or firms and syllabus training.

The application form for both MBA and Ph.D. can be submitted online, and the fee amount for the application form of INR 1000/- can also be paid, respectively. After the application is sent, the concerned authorities will shortlist the students based on specific qualifications and then select them for the final one-on-one interview and GD round.

How to apply for ASB Admissions for the 2021 Batch?

Like any other management student institution, the candidates must first log on to ASB's official website to fill in the admission application form. 

• They have to look for a new registration icon and continue with the process.
• Next, they have to fill in the details without any mistakes and attach the candidate's photo and other required documents in a digital scanned format. 
• Finally, press the submit button, download the application form, and take a copy of it to ensure there is no malformed future.   

While filling the form, he/she will be asked to select their convenient mode of payment of application fees, i.e., through online- Net Banking, with the use of debit/credit cards, if not, by demand draft. And the amount is INR 1000/- (non-refundable).

Note: if the payment is made via DD, then all the referral details like contact details and application form number has to be written at the back of the DD receipt.

Documents to be kept ready while filling the form:

1. A scanned soft copy of candidates' recent photograph of a passport size in JPG format and size of 150x200
2. The registration numbers of applicants who had appeared for any national level entrance exam or are willing to take part in those exams such as KMAT, GRE, CMAT, CAT, XAT, GMAT, etc. 
3. Marks card of 10+2 and UG passing certificate with a minimum accepted CGPA.

Amrita considerable qualifications for MBA admissions are- having completed their 10th and 12th board exams with any additional degree in the relevant subject or any stream from a recognized University/ Institution, scoring a minimum of 50 percent in both the board exams and have a CGPA of 6-7.5 in their undergrad. Lastly, the candidates must have secured a valid score in any of the national entrance examinations, as mentioned above.  

For a Ph.D. course in ASB, there are seven options for the candidates. The program is for both full-time and part-time duration in two sessions, likely in winter and summer, that can be selected according to candidates' convenience. 

Some of the needful criteria for the Ph.D. course in ASB are- having a certificate of both a UG degree and a master's degree in management studies. The candidate with a PG Diploma can also apply. Still, they should have an aggregate of 60 percent in all core subjects of the degree; otherwise, if the candidates have done CA, ACS or AICWA must have a total of 55% and lastly, for Ph.D. admissions, the candidates must have industry working experience for a minimum of 2 years.
