An entrance exam like JEE Main is mandatory for B-Tech admissions in Saveetha Engineering College. Based on the counselling rounds, seats will be allotted in the government quota. If the students are looking for a management quota, then they must appear for the SEAT conducted by the  College.

Saveetha Engineering College B-Tech admissions are provided primarily depending on TNEA counselling rounds. It is conducted by TN state. Otherwise, the college also conducts its own entrance test called SEAT for admissions and scholarships.
