NIT Kolkata placed 31st out of the Top 50 Engineering Colleges in India according to TOI Ranking Survey. Narula Institute of Technology fees for BTech is 1.4 Lakhs (1st Year Fees). Students must meet the basic eligibility requirements set forth by the college administration to be admitted. WBJEE or JEE Main results determine admission to the B Tech program, which is then followed by counseling. Narula Institute of Technology hostel fee Structure is INR 72k. Scholarships from the Narula Institute of Technology are given to students from the underprivileged segments of our community.

In regard to placement, NIT Kolkata is one of the best engineering colleges. During the 2024 placement session. A placement record of 89% was achieved, with 700+ students being placed. The average salary package offered was INR 6 LPA. Some top recruiters included Amazon, Accenture, Google, Samsung, IBM, HCL, Infosys, Deloitte, and Capgemini.

The B-Tech applicants must have appeared for the JEE Main or WBJEE exam and secured valid scores. If they do not secure eligibility then they can opt for management or direct admissions at NIT.
