The students should belong to the Brahmin community of Andhra Pradesh and have a family income below INR. 1 lakh. They must have scored an EAMCET rank below 50,000. They must not receive any other scholarships.

The scholarship is provided for economically backward minority students of Andhra Pradesh. That includes students from SC, ST, OBC-NC, disabled, and Muslim minorities. It is a merit-based scholarship, and the candidates will be admitted to the 2nd year of the B-Tech course based on their EAMCET rank.
