SASI Institute of Technology and Engineering

The Sasi Institute of Technology and Engineering was established in the year 2002. It is a part of the Sasi Group of Institutions. The Institution is situated in Tadepalligudem in Andhra Pradesh. NAAC accredited the SITE with an "A" Grade. With JNTU Kakinada, SASI Engineering College is affiliated. The College holds NBA accreditation and is approved by AICTE to offer technical education. SITE is dedicated to achieving global standards and excellence in teaching, research, and consultancy by creating a conducive ambiance in engineering and management studies. According to TOI 2022 Survey, the Sasi Institute of Technology and Engineering Ranking is 157 for B Tech.

Sasi Institute of Technology & Engineering Courses are at undergraduate, graduate, and diploma levels. The B.Tech, M.Tech, and MBA programs are available. Eight B Tech programs are available, ranging from 60 to 180. M Tech is available in four streams, with intake varying from 9 to 18 seats. In addition, the College offers an MBA with an annual intake of 120 seats. The diploma programs are available in ECE, Mechanical, and EEE, with an intake of 60 seats each.

SASI Engineering College admission is based on an entrance test followed by counseling. 70% of seats will be filled under Convenor Quota/Category A. 30% of intake in each branch is allotted for Sasi Institute of Technology and Engineering Management Quota. Admission to the B Tech is based on EAMCET. GATE or PGECET scores determine admission to M Tech. Applicants interested in applying for MBA must qualify in ICET. Admission to the Diploma programs is based on POLYCET.

Sasi Institute of Technology and Engineering fees for B Tech is approximately INR 85k. The overall expense for studying MBA in SITE will be around INR 1.2 Lakhs. Students enrolling in M Tech must pay INR 62k per annum. The cost for Diploma Courses is INR 15k per year. Students must satisfy the Sasi Engineering College Cut off to be eligible for admission under Category A.

The College offers its students with access to a variety of on-campus facilities. There are separate dormitories for boys and girls on the college campus, and each has basic furnishings and amenities. A library with a substantial collection of books, journals, research papers, and daily newspapers. Other facilities include laboratories for each department where students can work on projects and conduct real-world experiments. The most recent technologies and equipment are present in every lab, which is well-organized and furnished.

The dedicated Sasi  Engineering College placement and training cell will organize on-campus student interviews. It arranges various pre-placement activities such as mock interviews, guest lectures, industry seminars, industrial tours, and project work to prepare the students. Besides, it offers career counseling and coaching to students to help them develop their creative abilities. The placement cell's primary objectives include establishing values, self-discovery, workplace exploration, increased productivity, and connection building.

Sasi Institute has consistently topped the list of campus placement records for several years. They are pleased that employers in business and industry, both in the private and governmental sectors, highly regard our pupils. At the College, providing assistance, support, advice, and information to students looking for work is a top priority. A well-equipped conference seminar room and separate, tastefully furnished rooms for interviews and counseling are available in the Placement and Training Cell.

During 2020 Drive, around 57 companies visited the campus. More than 400 students got placed. Sasi Institute of Technology and Engineering Average Package stood at INR 4 LPA.
