From its humble beginnings as a postgraduate wing of Calcutta University to a state university in 1987 and finally a Central University in 2007, Tripura university has come a long way. Tripura University Courses and Fees

Tripura university offers a wide range of courses at different levels of study. It also provides distance education courses in various subjects. Tripura University Course Admission 

Applicants must fill out an application form to get admission in UG, PG and diploma courses at Tripura university. This application form is available on the university website. Admissions are granted based on CUET scores.

• Students must ensure the eligibility criteria before filling out the application form. Students applying for Tripura University UG Courses shall have passed 10+2 with minimum aggregate marks.
• Tripura University B.Ed. Admission is based on the entrance test administrated by the University. Candidates must have a bachelor's degree to appear for an entrance test.
• Thus, to be eligible for B.Ed., students are mandated to take Tripura University Entrance Exam.
• Candidates must have a bachelor's degree in any field with at least 50% or an equivalent cumulative grade point average for  PG Courses.
• Candidates will be admitted directly into the MBA in Tripura University with a valid score on the MAT, XAT, CAT, or CMAT.

• The "Admission tab" must be selected by students after they open the website.
• Click the "Online Admission 2023-2024" tab to open a new window.
• After that, snap on the 'Go to Online Application Section.
• The email address used to log in will receive a password.
• After  Tripura University Registration Login, fill out the academic and personal information.
• It is necessary to attach and submit the required documents.
• Online payment is required for the application fees (INR 800 for general category students and INR 600 for reserved categories).

Tripura University placement assistance cell keeps in touch with former students and business people and invites them to participate in placements at Tripura University. Furthermore, in collaboration with the Equal Opportunity Cell at Tripura University, the placement assistance cell helps students improve their communication and writing skills and organizes spoken and written English classes.

Tripura University Facilities

There is a large collection of books, journals, and digital resources in the University's library. The University also provides out-of-town students with housing options. The Tripura university campus supports Wifi. The campus has facilities for both indoor and outdoor sports. Additional campus facilities include computer labs, a bank, a post office, and ATM.

Library: The University's central library can accommodate 250 students at once and has WiFi throughout the building. Print books, journals, CDs, DVDs, thesis/dissertation, reports, newspapers, e-journals, and e-books are all well-stocked and well-known in the library. 

Tripura University Hostel facility 

The University offers separate hostels for boys and girls.  Hostel rooms are assigned based on availability, and students must complete separate application forms. Students benefit from hygienic and high-quality food provided by the mess facilities, which are also accessible to hosts. The University is fully computerized and connected to the internet round-the-clock. The facility has 60 and 110 seats for both boys and girls. The research scholars are allocated 50 seats.
