A constituent institution of Symbiosis International Deemed to be University is Symbiosis Institute of Technology, better known as SIT, Pune. It was founded in 2008. SIT has earned approval from the NAAC and recognition from the UGC. It is one of the Best Engineering colleges in Pune, Maharashtra. SIT Pune courses comprise a four-year B.Tech degree in five different fields, a two-year M.Tech degree in four different specialties, and an engineering Ph.D. research program. SIT Pune admission depends on entrance test results.

Symbiosis Pune B.Tech programs in Civil Engineering, Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning, Computer Science and Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering. Candidates with a minimum cumulative GPA of 45% who have completed the 10+2 (PCM/PCB) are eligible for Symbiosis B Tech admission. Scores from the Symbiosis B Tech Entrance Exam, JEE Main, or any state government engineering entrance exam will be used to select eligible candidates. Candidates with an engineering diploma are eligible to enter the B.Tech 2nd year.

Symbiosis B Tech application form will be available on the official website. Candidates are required to register online by paying the applicable charges. Admission to the Symbiosis M Tech is based on GATE or University Entrance Exam

Symbiosis Institute of Technology's fee structure for B.Tech is INR 8 lakhs. For studying M Tech, the course fees will be approximately INR 2.5 Lakhs for the 1st year. Symbiosis hostel fee for female and male candidates is the same. The fee ranges from INR 80.30k – 1.09 lakhs. The total hostel fee comprises deposit and mess fees per annum.

The Symbiosis Institute of Technology follows the Education Board of the Indian Government's reservation guidelines. Symbiosis Institute of Technology reservation goes as 15% of students from Scheduled Caste, 7.5 from Scheduled Tribe, and 3% from students with disabilities are given preference in UG courses.

The Institute provides several merit-based scholarships for all programs. A few of the Symbiosis Institute of Technology scholarships are as follows.

  • Undergraduate students who demonstrate merit will be given Symbiosis Institute of Technology UG Merit Scholarships. For all courses, scholarships that cover 50% of the tuition are available.
  • According to the updated policy, scholarship awards for semester top performers will be made based on academic merit, with a minimum GPA of 8.50.
  • Only students who have completed all required courses for the relevant program—i.e., who have no backlog—will be eligible for the award of the Merit Scholarship.

Candidates looking for Symbiosis CSE Admission 2026, must apply through the SITEEE exam or with a valid JEE Main score. You should have passed 10+2 with Physics and Mathematics and at least 45% marks. Fill out the application form on the SIT website, upload documents, and pay the fee. Admission is based on entrance test scores and merit lists, followed by document verification and fee payment.

To apply for B.Tech in CSE at Symbiosis Institute of Technology (SIT), the candidate is required to pass the 12th class with physics, mathematics, and one additional subject, including Chemistry or Computer Science, with a minimum of 45% marks from a recognized board. Admission is based on the SITEEE (Symbiosis Engineering Entrance Exam). The official website of Symbiosis allows the applicant to fill out the online application form. All shortlisted applicants, after taking the entrance exam, will be called for counselling/interview. Once selected, the applicant is required to submit the documents and pay the fees to confirm the seat.

The BTech CSE course at this institute costs INR 3,20,000 per year. Consequently, the total fees for four years add up to INR 12,80,000.
